Spring 2022 Level Method Assessments Summary

Congratulations to everyone at IMA/Audacious CF!

Our 12 weeks of training in the Winter resulted in improvements in our overall fitness and health!

We had 89 Individual Category Level Up’s (compared to 86 in November 2021) among 15 of us who took part in the Assessments this go around.

That is an average of 5.933 Individual Category Level Ups per person (compared to 5.375 in our Fall Assessments in November 2021)!

We had Overall Level Promotions for:
Gus E., Orange III to Blue I
Dan H., Yellow III to Orange
Brian L., Orange II to Orange III (Right before Assessments)
Amber J., Orange to Orange I

Biggest Improvements in Individual Category Level Ups were:
Front Squat: Tie between Brian L. and Amber J., Blue III to Purple II, and Brown to Brown III, respectively
Upper Body Pull: Brian L., Brown to Brown III
Lactic Tolerance: Brian L., Blue II to Purple I
Deadlift: Jase S.., Purple III to Brown III
Upper Body Push: Andy O., Yellow to Orange III
Upper/Lower Endurance: Gus E., Orange I to Blue I
Weightlifting: Tie between Troy O. and Andy O., Orange III to Blue III and Yellow II to Orange II, respectively
Rings: Gus., Purple I to Brown I
Squat Endurance: Tie between Brian L. and Gus E., Purple to Brown I, both
Neurological and Core Endurance: Andy O., Yellow II to Orange II
Kettlebell: Tie between Brian L., Gus E., Amber J., and Andy O., first three Purple to Brown I, and Orange III to Purple, respectively
Flexibility: Gus E., Blue I to Brown IIII
Running: Amber J., Blue III to Brown
Rowing: Albert L., Purple III to Brown I
Aerobic Power Intervals: Tie between Gus. E., Albert L., and Dan H., Purple to Purple II, Brown II to Black, and Blue II to Purple, respectively

Since our last Assessments in November, we had 5 other individuals start their own Level Method Strength and Conditioning Assessments!

With everyone’s levels averaged, our Gym Avatar Overall Fitness Level as of 4/9/22 is Orange III, same as it was as of 11/20/21.
Our Relative Strength (Strength to Bodyweight ratio) stayed the same at Blue I.
Our Objective (Absolute) Strength improved from Blue II to Blue III.
Our Electricity (Central Nervous System ability) improved from Blue I to Blue II.
Our Plumbing (Cellular Fueling) improved from Blue to Blue I.
Our Ventilation (Oxygen and Breathing) improved from Blue II to Blue III.

Since 11/20/21, we as a whole improved 6 out of the 15 categories on the Level MAP! We maintained the 5 categories at the same levels, as well. We saw 4 categories go down 1 level each (these will become focal points in our Spring Training Cycle to improve).
Our Front Squat improved from Blue I to Blue II.
Our Upper Body Pull maintained at Blue II.
Our Lactic Tolerance maintained at Orange III.
Our Deadlift improved from Blue II to Purple.
Our Upper Body Push maintained at Blue.
Our Upper/Lower Endurance improved from Orange II to Orange III.
Our Weightlifting went down from from Purple to Blue III.
Our Rings went down from Blue I to Blue.
Our Squat Endurance maintained at Blue II.
Our Neurological and Core Endurance maintained at Orange II.
Our Kettlebell improved from Blue II to Purple.
Our Flexibility went down from Purple to Blue III.
Our Running improved from Purple to Purple I.
Our Rowing went down from Blue III to Blue II.
Our Aerobic Power Intervals improved from Blue to Blue I.

Stay motivated to keep improving over these next 3 months of better weather to make the first half of 2022 a memorable time in our lives!
