Winter 2023 Level Method Assessments Summary
Congratulations to everyone at Audacious CrossFit!
Our 100 Days of CrossFit from 10/31/22 to 2/4/23 resulted in improvements in our overall fitness and health.
We had 38 Individual Category Level Up’s (compared to 24 in Fall 2022) among 8 of us (who had established Overall Fitness Levels) who took part in the Assessments this go around.
That is an average of 4.75 Individual Category Level Ups per person (compared to 2.4 in our Fall 2022 Assessments).
We had Overall Level Promotions for:
Brian L., Blue II to Blue III
Paula P., Yellow II to Yellow III
Micah W., Yellow II to Yellow III
Scott C., Yellow II to Orange
Biggest Improvements in Individual Category Level Ups were:
Front Squat: Tie between Albert L., Paula P.,, and Scott C.; Brown I to Brown II, Yellow I to Yellow II, and Orange to Orange I, respectively
Upper Body Pull: Tie between Albert L. and Scott C.; Black II to Red, and Yellow III and Orange I, respectively
Lactic Tolerance: Scott C.; Yellow I to Blue
Deadlift: Scott C.; Orange I to Blue
Upper Body Push: Tie between Micah W. and Scott C.; Orange III to Blue I, and Scott C., Yellow II to Orange, respectively
Upper/Lower Endurance: Brian L.; Blue I to Purple
Weightlifting: Scott C.; Blue I to Purple
Squat Endurance: Paula P.; Orange to Blue
Neurological and Core Endurance: Scott C.; Orange to Orange III
Kettlebell: Scott C.; Orange III to Purple
Flexibility: Tie between Brian L. and Scott C.; Brown III to Black III, and Purple I to Brown I, respectively
Running: Paula P.; Blue I to Blue III
Rowing: Scott C.; Yellow II to Blue III
Aerobic Power Intervals: Scott C.; Orange III to Blue III
Since our last Assessments in the Fall, we had 3 individuals start and complete their own Level Method Fitness Assessments and attained their Overall Fitness Levels.

And we had 5 more team members join us in February
With everyone’s levels averaged, our Gym Avatar Overall Fitness Level as of 2/26/23 is Orange III, same as it was as of 10/30/22.
Our Relative Strength (Strength to Bodyweight ratio) maintained at Blue I.
Our Objective (Absolute) Strength went down from Blue II to Blue I.
Our Electricity (Central Nervous System ability) maintained at Blue I.
Our Plumbing (Cellular Fueling) maintained at Blue.
Our Ventilation (Oxygen and Breathing) went up from Blue II to Blue III.
Since 10/31/22, we as a whole improved 6 out of the 15 categories on the Level MAP. We maintained 8 categories at the same levels. We saw 1 category go down 1 level.
Our Front Squat maintained at Blue.
Our Upper Body Pull went up from Blue I to Blue II.
Our Lactic Tolerance went up from Orange II to Orange III.
Our Deadlift went down from Blue II to Blue I.
Our Upper Body Push maintained at Blue.
Our Upper/Lower Endurance maintained at Orange I.
Our Weightlifting maintained at Blue III.
Our Rings maintained at Blue I.
Our Squat Endurance maintained at Blue II.
Our Neurological and Core Endurance maintained at Orange III.
Our Kettlebell went up from Blue II to Blue III.
Our Flexibility went up from Blue III to Purple.
Our Running went up from Purple to Purple III.
Our Rowing maintained at Blue II.
Our Aerobic Power Intervals went up from Blue to Blue I.
This was our second time as a group assessing over 3 weeks.
We are looking forward to the next 14 weeks of training!
Summer 2023 Level Method Assessments will be from 6/4/23 to 6/23/23.
