How much water do you really need to carry and drink?
Try this experiment.
Part 1:
Go on a hike or walk (set an exact distance, e.g. 3 miles).
Take with you a 1-liter bottle of water.
Hike or walk your desired distance while only breathing in and out of your mouth.
Find out after the hike or walk how much of the 1-liter bottle of water you drank.
Part 2:
Go on the same hike or walk (set the same distance you did in Part 1; also make sure weather conditions are the same or similar).
Take with you a 1-liter bottle of water.
Hike or walk your desired distance while only breathing in and out of your nose.
Find out after the hike or walk how much of the 1-liter bottle of water you drank.
Comment below with how much you drank in both parts, and how your experience was in both parts!
Use these data and your experience with this experiment to figure out how much water you really need to carry and drink!
