Fall 2024 Audacious Assessments Summary

Congratulations to everyone at Audacious Fitness!

Our 10 Weeks of Fitness Training from 6/24/24 to 8/30/24 resulted in improvements in our Overall Fitness and Health.

We had 49 Individual Category Level Up’s (compared to 63 in Summer 2024) among 9 of us (who had established Overall Fitness Levels) who took part in the Assessments this go around.

That is an average of 5.444 Individual Category Level Ups per person (compared to 9 in our Summer 2024 Assessments).

We had Overall Level Promotions for:
Gunnar H., Blue to Blue I to Blue II
Brett M., Orange III to Blue to Blue I
Justin B., Yellow to Yellow I

With everyone’s levels averaged, our Gym Avatar Overall Fitness Level as of 9/15/24 is Orange II, lower than it was as of 6/22/24 (Orange III).

Our Relative Strength (Strength to Bodyweight ratio) stayed the same at Blue I.
Our Objective (Absolute) Strength stayed the same at Blue I.
Our Electricity (Central Nervous System ability) went down from Blue I to Blue.
Our Plumbing (Cellular Fueling) stayed the same at Blue.
Our Ventilation (Oxygen and Breathing) stayed the same at Blue II.

Since 6/22/24, we as a whole went up in 5 of the 15 categories on the Level MAP, went down in 4, and stayed the same in 6.

Our Front Squat is the same at Blue I.
Our Upper Body Pull is the same at Blue I.
Our Lactic Tolerance went up from Orange I to Orange II.
Our Deadlift went down from Blue I to Blue.
Our Upper Body Push is the same at Orange III.
Our Upper/Lower Endurance went up from Orange I to Orange II.
Our Weightlifting is the same at Blue II.
Our Rings is the same at Blue.
Our Squat Endurance is the same at Blue III.
Our Neurological and Core Endurance went down from Orange III to Orange II.
Our Kettlebell went down from Blue III to Blue I.
Our Flexibility went up from Purple to Purple I.
Our Running went up from Purple I to Purple III.
Our Rowing went down from Blue II to Orange III.
Our Aerobic Power Intervals went up from Orange III to Blue I.

We assessed over 2 weeks (10 business days).

We had 1 new member complete their Assessments alongside the Team in the classes.
We have 1 new member currently completing their Assessments 1-on-1.

Our last 10 weeks of Training focusing on 1 Hero workout or 1 Girl workout per week (alternating weeks), along with 2 other Strength days and 1-2 other Metcon days per week helped our Lactic Tolerance, Upper/Lower Endurance, Flexibility, Running, and Aerobic Power Intervals improve.

Our Deadlift, Neurological and Core Endurance, Kettlebell, and Rowing all going down due to newer members’ assessed lower levels for those categories, as well as previous members' levels removed, since leaving.

Be not deterred! In the next 10 weeks of Training, our programming should result in those categories improving when we re-Assess in the Winter.

We will again have the unique opportunity of Valerie Levesque, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT coming and conducting Isometric Strength Assessments for us using the Isophit and Kinvent devices. We will see what these data look like now in the Fall/Winter after she initially came in the Summer.

We are looking forward to the next 10 weeks of training (9/16/24-11/22/24)!

Winter 2024 Assessments will be from 11/25/24-12/6/24.
