Lactic Acid is NOT the burn you feel
When you're training very hard, and you're experiencing the burning, it's when your body's pH is dropping, resulting from ATP Hydrolysis (on a scale from 1-14, being acidic is less than 7, and being more alkaline is more than 7).
The burning is not from Lactic Acid...check out this cool infographic (below) from Dr. Eddie Jo at the Cal Poly Pomona Human Performance Research Lab!
Possible solution to buffering against the burning you feel when you're training?
1. Sleep - enough and best you can
2. Hydration - drink when you're thirsty, don't when you're not...even try drinking Kangen Water
3. Nutrition - meats and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar
4. Oxygen - Breathe effectively and efficiently (using your body properly/using your diaphragm properly to help your lungs function properly to get as much air into your body as possible
Oxygen helps you buffer against acidity that builds up in your body by alkalizing it!
