Freedom Friday
^Our Ruck 208 group on our recent hike up to Sinker Butte
We all feel like we're behind some form of steel bars at some point in our lives.
Whether they be a dead-end relationship, a job that we are not passionate about and slave at, a pain or injury that is limiting us from doing what we want, when we want, or even the hundreds of pills we swallow per month that were promised to help us get healthier...
To be free and not stuck behind those steel bars is what we are all pursuing.
It will take some guidance, learning, and some effort to get to the other side.
Get fired up to make those little decisions that you have been meaning to make for a long time, to get you in the direction you want to go.
Declare your independence and fight for it with everything you got.
We and other local gyms are here for you.
Unfortunately, right now there are steel bars holding us back from providing the most optimal help we can.
Help us help you by writing to our representatives to get legislative action through to keep gyms alive.

Jill Phillips – Steel Bars
So this is how it feels at the rock bottom of despair
When the house I built comes crashing down
And this is how it feels when I know the man that I say I am
Is not the man that I am when no one's around
This is how it feels to come alive again
And start fighting back to gain control
And this is how it feels to let freedom in
And break these chains that enslave my soul
[Chorus]
I refuse to be locked up in here like a prison cell
Where all I ever get is a meal and four walls
I used to be just fine in here but not anymore
Gonna break through these steel bars
So tell me how it feels when the tables start to turn
And you find yourself at the losing end
Tell me how it feels, you're not welcome here
'Cause I'm tired of pain and I'm tired of sin
[Chorus]
I won't let you win
I have no doubt
I don't want you in
So get out, get out
[Chorus]
I refuse to be locked up in here like a prison cell
Where all I ever get is a meal and four walls
I used to be just fine in here but not anymore
Gonna break through these steel bars
